Travel Information

Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei province and is the most populous city in central China. It lies at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han River. Arising out of the conglomeration of three boroughs, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang, the three towns, separated by the Yangtze and Hanshui rivers, are linked by bridges. Since the municipalities are so closely connected by waterways, Wuhan is also called the "city on rivers." Wuhan is known as "the thoroughfare leading to nine provinces"; it is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways and expressways passing through the city. Nowadays Wuhan is recognized as the political, economic, financial, cultural, educational and transportation center of central China.

There is an airport and three train stations in Wuhan with many flights and high speed trains to Wuhan. Transportation from Tianhe airport to the conference venue is about 50 minutes by taxi and one and a half hours by subway, from Wuhan Railway station is about 25 minutes by taxi and 40 minutes by subway, from Hankou Railway station is about 40 minutes by taxi and 45 minutes by subway, from Wuchang Railway station is about 20 minutes by taxi and 25 minutes by subway.


Internation Travel

There are direct international flights from major US, European, and Asian cities to Wuhan Tianhe Airport. Non-stop flights are available from Hong Kong, Moscow, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Shizuoka, Paris, San Francisco, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei. You may also fly to major Chinese port cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and then take domestic connection flights or high speed trains to Wuhan. Travel time from Beijing or Shanghai to Wuhan by high speed trains is about 4-5 hours. Local transportation between train stations and airports normally takes 0.5-2 hours.


Domestic Travel

There are nonstop flights from many major Chinese cities to Wuhan Tianhe Airport. There are three major trains stations in Wuhan (Wuhan Station, Hankou Station and Wuchang Station) with direct fast trains connections to major Chinese cities within 5 hours.

Local Transportation

The conference will take place in the "Wanda Reign" hotel located in the center of Wuhan.Transportation to Wanda Reign hotel is convenient. From Wanda Reign hotel, it’s about 40 km from Tianhe airport, 20 km from Hankou railway station and 15km from Wuhan railway station.

    The closest subway station by conference venue is Chuhe Hanjie (楚河汉街, Chu River and Han Street) Station. Chuhe Hanjie (楚河汉街) Station is on subway line 4. Walking from Chuhe Hanjie (楚河汉街) Station, it’s about 700 meter to Wanda Reign hotel, 370 meter to Gallery F Hotel, 1.6 km to Wuhan Hongyi hotel, 1.6 km to Jinjiang Inn.

    From Airport/Hankou railway station to Chu He Hanjie(楚河汉街) Station

    Take subway line 2 (Fozu Ling direction,佛祖岭) and travel 20 stops (airport) or 10 stops (Hankou station), then transfer to line 4 at Hongshan Square station (洪山广场) Wuhan railway station (towards Wuhan Railway Station direction, 武汉火车站). Then you will arrive Chuhe Hanjie (楚河汉街) Station in one stop. It takes 70/35 minutes by subway from Airport or Hankou railway station, respectively.

    From Wuhan railway station to Chu He Hanjie(楚河汉街) Station

    Take subway line 4 (Bolin / Huangjin Kou direction) and arrive Chuhe Hanjie (楚河汉街) Station in 10 stops. It takes 25 minutes.
